Peeping Tom publishing and Piacé le Radieux (Sarthe) will share a stand at the second edition of
MAD (Multiple Art Days) fair in Maison Rouge, Paris, an annual gathering focused on publishers.
We will present Natsuko Uchino’s RURAL project. A collection of books, varied items (fanzines, DVDs,
vinyl, photographs, limited edition silk-screen prints, postcards, and more), and artwork will be available
along with arts & crafts and locally produced goods such as ceramics, textiles,
dried mushrooms, honey, teas, amongst others.
Through the propagation of interdisciplinary productions from the countryside, RURAL aims
to highlight the “crossing” of projects involving culture, ecology, economic solidarity and social commitment.
For the MAD fair, the RURAL project will draft a dialogue between the Limousin,
Sarthe — regions in France — and the Hudson Valley in the state of New York, USA.
Participating artists, craftmen and farmers:
Laurie Anne et Jean Estaque
GAEC Champs Libres
Centre international d’art et du paysage (CIAP) de Vassivière
Products from Limousin have been selected by artist Natsuko Uchino,
Mélanie Leduc and Michelines, a community silk-screen print studio in Felletin, France.
The RURAL supplement, special focus on the Limousin region by artist Natsuko Uchino taken
from Peeping Tom’s Digest #4: Paris (Le Grand and Beyond) has been specially published for this occasion.
It is a limited and numbered edition of 150, which was printed with the collaboration of Piacé le Radieux
and thanks to Groupama’s generous support.
The stand will also have varied items, books and postcards created by Piacé le Radieux,
Many thanks go out to Natsuko Uchino, Mélanie Leduc, Nicolas Hérisson
as well Peeping Tom publishing’s books and fanzines.
and the entire Piacé le Radieux team for this joint effort!
